Dear Patients,
I have enjoyed caring for you & your families over the last 45 years. It is with both joy & sadness that I am writing to let you know that I will be retiring. My last day with the practice will be March 1, 2022. I am looking forward to working with my son on a more full time basis restoring cars – something we both very much enjoy doing.
I am happy to let you know, though, that the doctors taking over my practice (Drs. Shannon Gilbert and Ben Colston) are previous acquaintances of mine that are also Vision Source ® doctors – and just great folks. You’ll be in good hands with them. You can read more about them on our new website:
Drs. Gilbert & Colston share my philosophy of taking the best care possible of your most precious sense – vision. The business will remain a private practice and will continue to operate as a Vision Source ® office. Vision Source ® is a voluntary organization in all 50 states dedicated to excellence in eyecare & I am proud to have been a member of this fine group.
Your records and the existing staff will continue to be here, so there will not be any significant changes in your continuing your care with these excellent doctors. In fact, they are hoping to spruce the place up with new décor, furniture & updated technology. I think you will be impressed with their upgrades. Also, I live in Keller (only 4 miles away) and will always be available to the new doctors if they ever have any questions regarding your past eyecare.
It has been both a pleasure & privilege meeting you all, as well as being trusted with the care of your eyes – thank you so very much for that! I wish you all the very best in the coming years!
